oh, risotto!
Oh, Risotto! sold a selection of traditional Italian arancini at local markets in Durban, South Africa. Started in early 2016 with my husband, it grew quickly with our smart branding and our delicious food. We sold the business four months after starting it, just before we moved to London.
retro, let’s go!
Retro, let’s go! was a unique vintage and retro inspired event in Durban. With a market in the morning (with over 25 stalls) and a sold out 1950s dance in the evening - attendants were transported back to the nostalgic days of time gone by.

Along with a group of friends, I helped organise TedxUmhlanga, (a TED talks like event in our own community) in 2013.
Our event sold out in 24 hours and was widely considered a success.
